OUR STORY
Horse Rescue, Training, Service Dog Training and Therapy ! These will be funded by opening our beautiful pristine ranch to guests to enjoy. Riding, camping, cross country jumping, thousands of acres of forrest privately accessed by ranch and leading to some of Colorado's most amazing trail rides. Training Clinics, fishing at Piedra river few minutes away, hiking, bird watching, luxurious elegant tents for camping available, very limited RV hook up, or bring your own tents.
Your horses or ours ! Dogs can be boarded, trained, go to doggie daycare or if well behaved around livestock can go with you. Host Birthday Parites, Weddings, special events or theraputic retreats here. This is an original homestead ranch, the old stage coach road going to durango, a collapsed coach still on the side of the road, original school, saloon and brothel still in existance. It was built in 1800 and the updated ranch house in 1904.
Absolutely Paradise, but still pouplated by many migratory wildlife undisturbed for 20 years, and there are lion, bear, and rattlesnake. none of whom have bothered us yet but it is WILD WEST so do be prepared, we will be making sure the groomed trails are as safe as can be, but its real nature so bring your long leather boots and vaccinated animals for antivenom if coming for Late Summer. Winter Sports also coming this winter season! heated camping with electricity and hot water, luxurious *glamping* if you will, based on availabiltiy. Opens August 1st for open house.
